Investigation #2

Description:
Drawing and Photography are both forms of visual art, both ways of expressing creativity and stories. What makes them different? What allows these pieces to work together? In this investigation, I want to explore the combinations of these 2 mediums, using them to blend to create something truly special.
**The Working Beaver:** This piece demonstrates the ability to truly integrate a character into its environment. With intricate trees and complex dappled lighting, we position the character seamlessly within its surroundings.
**The Abduction Zone** This piece takes simple photographs and adds creative elements, enhancing the scene to make it worth a second glance.
**Welding Time** This photograph illustrates a direct interaction with the environment. It showcases not just a subject in the frame but one that actively alters the surroundings, embodying the essence of my investigation and what I am striving to achieve.ally this. This truly embodies the investigation and what I'm working for.

Description:
A
Flock: This photo to your left shows a flock of Swablu from Pokemon flying through the blue skies to warmer weather.

Partner: A man looking over the horizon while his little partner, Dedenne, sits on his shoulder blissfully. This shows an interaction between man and a Pokemon that could only be expressed through this combination.

Nap time: The photo at the bottom shows a big Snorlax enjoying an afternoon nap in the sun. I feel a real connection between the character and his environment in this piece.

In all of these pieces, using these Pokemon shows my childhood wonder. I watched these shows over and over again. Seeing all the characters and lands people would travel. But to be able to bring them into the real world is something that truly sparks my imagination.

How do we reconnect with our childhood imagination?
Investigation #3

Investigation #4

Description:
Stop Sign : This shows the interactions between a real animal and something that is made up. I tried my best in this to show the interactions between each other to make it seem real even though we know its not.

Sun: In this one, I wanted to do an image that would affect the lighting of the piece, in this case the lighting by having the sun cast brightness on one side of the Birds face.

Bunny and Bunny: This one I made a sketch affect in this photo. This is a cool effect to show 2 bunnies but one is there and one isn't. But to frame it as though they are together.

Investigation #5

Description:
Sunny, another addition to the happy sun in the sky, casts light on his environment with a bright smile.

2nd Bumble: Adding another bee to the scene makes It feel more lively. As he flies through the sky it just adds more visual interest to a place normally without.
Fake Flowers: This one adds a different aspect to the picture of just the flowers. It adds a new main point to change your perspective on the image,. It says with the trees as the real one, blending in with the scene
